Meet the team at Dental Link.

Dental Link is the best dental concierge in Vietnam: we know every clinic in person, meet you at the airport, and sit beside you at your first appointment. Dental Link is a specialized team on the ground here. See how a Vietnam dental holiday works.

Our clinics are in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

A booking website cannot do that, because nobody there has visited the clinics. That is why patients name us in their reviews.

Dental Tourism in Vietnam at a Glance

Dental tourism in Vietnam means flying to Vietnam for dental work at a vetted clinic that you pay directly. Dental Link is a free concierge, not a clinic.

  • Where. Ho Chi Minh City has most of our vetted clinics, and Hanoi has the rest.
  • Price. All-on-4 starts from US$3,900 per arch, a single implant from US$950.
  • Trips. Crowns and veneers usually take one trip. Implants usually take two, months apart.
  • Who you pay. The clinic, directly, at its own price. Dental Link costs you $0.
  • What we do. We check each clinic in person against 18 published checks, send two matched clinics within 24 hours, and meet you at arrivals.
  • What we never do. We never treat patients, give clinical advice, take a deposit, or sell flights, hotels or visas.
  • Entry. Australians need a visa before they fly. An eVisa may allow a stay of up to 90 days.
  • The downside. Follow-up means a flight, so read the warranty first.

How Dental Link Works: You Do Two Things

With Dental Link, you ask for a free quote, then book a flight. From arrivals to your flight home, we look after everything else.

All you do two things

  1. 1Ask for a free quotea few short questions, then WhatsApp
  2. 2Book your flightonce you have chosen your clinic

Your advisor helps you choose the clinic, and our travel partners can book your hotel.

You get everything else handled eight things

Before you fly
  • Find and vet the clinic, so you never gamble on a website
  • Negotiate your plan and warranty, so nothing is agreed across a language barrier
  • Schedule every appointment, so your trip is booked around your teeth, not the other way round
While you are in Vietnam
  • Met at arrivals and driven to your hotel, so you are never left at the airport wondering what to do
  • All the talking, in English and Vietnamese, so nothing about your mouth is lost in translation
  • Beside you in the room at your first appointment, so you are not alone when it matters most
After you fly home
  • Check-ins from the same person, so you never re-explain your case to a stranger
  • Your clinic's warranty and direct line, so a problem a year later takes one phone call to raise

What Dental Link Patients Wrote About These Steps

Four patients described the steps above in reviews they published themselves. Robert McKinnon wrote that the team greets you on arrival at the airport and makes sure you are settled into your accommodation. David Shyu wrote about being connected with two clinics, with group chats set up to talk with them directly. Luke Cunningham wrote about returning in 3 months to complete the work. Vic, in New Zealand, wrote that the ongoing support gave a great deal of confidence.

"They will great you on arrival at the airport and make sure you are settled into your accommodation and be with you all the way through your journey."

How to Plan a Dental Trip to Vietnam

Plan the trip around your treatment plan, not the holiday. Send your X-rays, get two written quotes, then book flights.

Before you book

Quotes usually follow within hours of your X-rays. Each names the implant brand, the dental lab, the warranty and the days of each trip.

Health check

The Australian government says to talk to your doctor and get a health check at least 6 weeks before you go.

Travel insurance

Smartraveller says basic travel insurance policies rarely cover medical tourism. Ask your insurer what it covers if there is a complication.

Flying home

When you can fly after treatment is your dentist's call. A 2023 British Dental Journal review says flying soon after dental work can cause pressure pain in the teeth, and that the wait depends on the procedure. So leave spare days before you fly.

Records

The US health agency CDC says to get copies of your medical records before you return home. Get your X-rays and the implant brand in writing too. A dentist at home can then follow up.

Visa

Australians must have a visa before they travel to Vietnam. Smartraveller says to use only the official eVisa website. If approved, an eVisa may let you stay up to 90 days. On request, your advisor can introduce travel partners, and you pay those providers yourself.

One trip or two

Crowns and veneers usually need one trip. Implants usually need two, because the implant has to heal before the final teeth go on. See how long dental implants take.

What Dental Treatment Costs in Vietnam

Most people who come to Dental Link already have a treatment plan and a price from a dentist at home. They have read their dentist's price four times already.

The home prices in these charts are the top of what patients are quoted in each country. Your own price depends on your scan, the implant brand and the plan your dentist writes.

An abutment is the small part that joins the implant post to the crown. Bone grafting (adding bone to the jaw) or extraction (taking a tooth out) costs extra in every country. The US$3,900 All-on-4 figure is for the implants, plus the fixed teeth on top. The price depends on the implant brand and system your clinic uses. The lowest figures are for entry level implant systems. Your written quote names the brand before you agree to anything.

What to Check Before You Book a Clinic in Vietnam

Most of what matters about a clinic can be checked on paper before you fly. Ask for these eight in writing. They are eight of the 18 checks a Dental Link advisor runs before we list a clinic.

  • The operating licence, matching the clinic's trading name and address.
  • The practising licence of each dentist who would treat you. In Vietnam, the Ministry of Health or the provincial Department of Health issues it.
  • Sterilisation records, and how instruments are tracked.
  • A written price list and an itemised plan before anything starts.
  • The dental lab that makes the teeth, by name.
  • The dentist's own cases like yours, not the clinic's totals.
  • The implant or material brand.
  • The warranty: years, cover, exclusions and how to claim.

Two things cannot be checked from home: an ordinary working day at the clinic, and how it handles a problem. So an advisor who lives in the city walks through each clinic.

The 18 checks, group by group

  • Licence and legal standing: 4 checks.
  • The visit in person: 5 checks.
  • The dentist: 1 check.
  • Materials, pricing and warranty: 4 checks.
  • Records and outcomes: 2 checks.
  • Adversarial review, where we test what the clinic tells us: 2 checks.

What takes a clinic off our list

  • It sells a patient treatment they did not come for.
  • Its sterilisation or infection control slips below what we check on a visit.
  • The brand or material in the mouth does not match the quote.
  • It handles a problem badly.

The Australian government says to find out if the hospital is accredited by the local authorities, and to check that the surgeon doing your procedure is qualified and accredited. The same idea fits a dental clinic and a dentist. Our guide covers what you can and cannot check from home, and the vetting page lists all 18 checks.

The Risks of Dental Tourism, and What Is Not Covered

Dental work abroad can go well or badly. The hard part is follow-up, because the clinic is a long flight from home.

What outside bodies say

The Australian Dental Association reported on 13 August 2024 that its president said some patients received good care overseas, and that he saw others return with major issues. He was speaking about dental tourism in general, not about Vietnam. The Australian government says there are always risks with medical procedures. It says Medicare does not cover you overseas, and to learn your legal rights in the country you travel to.

What the clinic's warranty covers

The warranty terms are written into your quote, so read them before you say yes. When a problem falls under the warranty, the remedial dental treatment is covered according to the clinic's warranty terms. Your advisor raises it with the clinic for you.

What is not covered

Flights and hotels to come back are not covered. Work done by a dentist at home sits outside the clinic's warranty. Our guide explains how a dental implant warranty works overseas.

What Dental Link cannot do

We cannot promise a result. We cannot answer a clinical question either: that goes to your treating dentist. If Vietnam is not right for you, we say so when you ask for your quote.

More About Dental Tourism in Vietnam

Each step has its own page, with the detail in full.

What People Ask About Dental Work in Vietnam

Here are Dental Link's answers, the same ones we give on the phone. That includes the parts that are not flattering to us.

It depends on the clinic, which is why we check every one in person before we send anyone. See how we check a clinic.

We are not dentists, so we never give clinical advice. You meet your dentist and agree to a written plan before anything starts.

People report both good trips and bad ones, so check your clinic before you fly. Thirteen Dental Link patients have published Vietnam dental reviews under their real names. They mention the airport pickup, a choice of two clinics and no deposit.

An Australian Dental Association report of 13 August 2024 says some patients got good care overseas, while its president saw others come back with major issues. That was a general point on dental tourism, not one about Vietnam.

Dental Link does not sell a package, because you pay Dental Link nothing. Every case gets two matched clinics with written quotes, airport pickup, an advisor at your first appointment, translation, and check-ins after you fly home.

Flights, hotels and visas are not included. If you ask, your advisor introduces travel partners, and you pay each one directly. You pay the clinic directly for treatment, at its own price. No deposits, ever. Our Vietnam dental holiday page shows each step.

Your clinic's warranty is written into your quote before you agree. If the warranty covers the issue, the remedial dental treatment is covered according to the clinic's warranty terms. Remedial treatment is dental work to put the problem right. Your advisor takes it to the clinic for you. Flights and hotels to come back are not covered. Whether remedial work at home is possible is a clinical question for a dentist, not for us. The cost of it would be outside the clinic's warranty. Our guide to dental warranties overseas answers the rest.

Dental Link is a top rated and trusted dental concierge in Vietnam. Dental Link earns a commission from the clinic when a patient completes treatment. You pay the clinic directly, at the same price you would pay walking in off the street.

The commission comes out of the clinic's side and is never added to your bill.

100% free for patients. Same price as booking direct. No deposits, ever.

All three have excellent clinics, and all three have bad ones. We have not sourced Philippines prices we trust, so we do not publish them.

On price, published 2026 comparisons put Vietnam about 20 to 40 percent below Thailand for the same implant brands. Compare the best country for dental implants. The gap is widest on full arch work, meaning work on a whole upper or lower row of teeth.

The choice does not come down to the country. What matters is whether someone has stood in the clinic, read your quote, and will be there when you land. That is what we do, in Vietnam.

Some Australians access superannuation early for dental treatment on compassionate grounds. The process asks for a written quote from the provider.

We are not financial advisers and this is not financial advice: check with your super fund and the ATO first.

What you get from us is the written clinic quote the application asks for.

Yes. Every review is public, on Google and on our Facebook page, under the patient's real name.

We will not put you on the phone with a past patient. We never hand out anyone's contact details, and that includes yours.

When you ask for your quote, we walk you through cases like yours. We cover the plan, the price and how it went.

We match you with two clinics that suit your case. Once your quotes are ready, you get the clinic names, dentist profiles and walk-through videos. Then you choose.

You can also ask for a different one, or none of them.

Flights, hotels and visas. You pay the provider for those yourself, and nothing is added by us. The treatment itself is paid directly to your clinic.

How to Get a Free Quote, Then Book Your Flight

Jordan Williams Mikey Nguyen Jordan and Mikey, Ho Chi Minh City

You start with a free quote from Dental Link. You answer a few short questions, and your answers open in WhatsApp, where you talk to someone who has visited every clinic we might match you with.

Nothing is sold to you, because there is nothing to buy from us. You ask for a free quote and book your flight, and we handle everything else. We are beside you from the moment you land.

  • Have you been quoted more than you can comfortably pay?
  • Have you wondered whether dental work in Vietnam is actually safe?
  • Have you worried you would be on your own once you landed?
  • Would you want two written quotes instead of one?
  • Would you want someone in the room the first time you sit in the chair?
  • Would you rather find all this out before you book a flight?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, your next step is a free quote that costs nothing.

Our promise, in writing

  • A free quote. We don't sell you anything.
  • Two clinics chosen for your case within 24 hours, or we tell you why
  • Quotes in writing, at each clinic's own price
  • Same price as booking direct. No deposits, ever.
  • If you decide not to go, you owe nothing and you will not hear from us again.

P.S. A cheap dental trip you book from a website can turn out to be the most expensive one. Having the work redone at home can cost more than the treatment did. It costs more because the dentist at home fixing it did not do the original work. That is the whole reason someone from Dental Link stands in the clinic first.
