Veneers Thailand: costs compared with Vietnam.
Veneers in Thailand cost from about THB 6,000 per tooth for composite. Porcelain veneers run from about THB 10,000 to THB 25,000 per tooth, set by the ceramic you pick. Both ranges come from clinic price lists we read. At about 33 to 34 baht to one US dollar in October 2026, that porcelain band is roughly US$300 to US$750 per tooth. In Vietnam, porcelain veneers start from US$250 per tooth. That is a starting price, not a quote. This page puts both countries' published figures side by side, so you can compare them yourself.

What Veneers Cost in Thailand
The cost of veneers in Thailand is easy to look up, because several clinics publish full price lists. What moves the figure most is the material, not the city. Below are the per tooth ranges from the lists we read, lowest material first.
| Veneer type | Thailand, per tooth (THB) | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Composite | THB 6,000 to THB 9,000 | Tooth coloured resin built straight onto the tooth in one visit. The lowest cost, and quicker, but it chips and stains sooner. |
| Porcelain | THB 10,000 to THB 15,000 | A thin ceramic shell made in a lab and bonded on. Harder wearing and more stain resistant than composite. |
| eMax ceramic | THB 14,000 to THB 20,000 | A stronger glass ceramic, often chosen for front teeth where looks matter most. |
| Zirconia | THB 18,000 to THB 25,000 | The hardest ceramic, at the top of the list. Used where strength is the priority. |
These prices are quoted in Thai baht. In US dollars, using roughly 33 to 34 baht per dollar this month, composite is about US$175 to US$275 per tooth and the ceramics about US$300 to US$750. Rates move every day, so check today's rate first. There is no single average, because the material sets the price, then the clinic and the tooth adjust it.
Two things change a veneer cost in Thailand more than the clinic's address. The first is the material, which the table above shows. The second is what the quote covers. The Bangkok guide we read puts the consultation, the impressions, the lab work and the fitting in its per tooth price. It flags temporaries to wear while the lab works as the one line to check. So read the quote, and ask for one itemised figure per tooth, with the material named.

Veneer Prices in Bangkok and Phuket
Bangkok and Phuket both treat overseas patients, and the prices are closer than you might expect. The same materials are on offer, and the price follows the ceramic, not the postcode.
The capital has the most cosmetic clinics and the fullest published prices, plus large hospitals with international accreditation. Bangkok clinics usually publish their veneer prices online, which is why the clearest figures on this page come from there. Composite starts near THB 6,000 per tooth, and the ceramics climb from THB 10,000.
On the holiday island, hospitals and clinics treat visitors between beach days. One Phuket hospital list we read puts composite at THB 7,000 and porcelain at THB 12,000 to THB 15,000. That sits close to Bangkok for the same work, so Phuket is not a separate price world.
For veneers anywhere in Thailand, the price is set per tooth and by the ceramic you choose, not by the city you fly to. Wherever you look, ask for the material in writing and an itemised figure before you judge a number.

Teeth Veneers in Thailand: Porcelain or Composite
A veneer is a thin cover on the front of a tooth that changes how it looks. Teeth veneers in Thailand come in the same two main materials as anywhere, composite and porcelain, and knowing them helps you read a quote.
Resin shaped onto the tooth and set hard in one visit. The cheapest option, and often reversible on the day. It chips and stains sooner, so it tends to suit smaller fixes.
Thin ceramic shells made in a lab, then bonded to the teeth. They last longer and resist stains, which is why they cost more. Getting them usually means shaping off a little enamel first.
Clip on or snap on covers that sit over the teeth and come out again. They are a cosmetic cover, not a fixed treatment. We found no Thai price for them that we trust, so we do not quote one.
Porcelain veneers in Thailand are usually not reversible, because a thin layer of enamel is removed first. How long one lasts depends on the material and your care, and porcelain tends to outlast composite. It is a cosmetic cover, so it does not treat decay or gum problems, which a dentist handles first. We are not dentists, so this is general education, not advice for your teeth. Implants are a different subject: see dental implants in Thailand compared with Vietnam, or how All-on-4 compares for a full arch.

Thailand and Vietnam Veneers, Compared on Price
Thailand has a long record in cosmetic dentistry. It has treated overseas patients for decades, the big Bangkok hospitals are accredited, and the Dental Council of Thailand registers every dentist. None of that is in doubt. What this page sets out is both countries' published per tooth figures, so the choice is yours.
| What you are comparing | Thailand, published price lists | Vietnam, through Dental Link |
|---|---|---|
| Porcelain veneer, per tooth | About US$300 to US$750, by the ceramic | From US$250. We have not yet checked this starting price against our own clinics' price lists. Your own price is the clinic's written quote. |
| Composite veneer, per tooth | About US$175 to US$275 | We have not sourced a Vietnam composite figure we trust, so we do not publish one |
| What the price includes | Varies by clinic. Shaping, temporaries and a night guard can be extra. | Named in the written quote: the material, the exact teeth, the lab and the warranty |
| Who inspected the clinic | You, or whoever you booked through | A Dental Link advisor, in person, in the clinic's city, before it is listed |
| What Dental Link charges you | It is a Thai clinic, so this does not apply | Nothing. 100% free for patients. The clinic pays our commission, never you. |
The two porcelain ranges overlap, so neither country is simply the cheaper one. At the low end they are close, and Thailand runs higher where the ceramic is eMax or zirconia. The material and the number of teeth move your total more than the border does. Thailand figures here are converted from Thai baht at this October's rate, near 33 to 34 to the dollar, so look up the current one to read them like for like.
Dental Link works only in Vietnam, so Vietnam is the side we can vouch for. We are not calling Thailand worse, and we promise no set saving. We show the published figures and let you weigh them. Common Questions About Veneers in Thailand
Which country is the cheapest to get veneers?
No single country is always the cheapest, and the lowest price often includes the least. Composite veneers cost less than porcelain in every country, so the material decides more than the border does. Thailand, Vietnam, Turkey and Mexico all sit well below home fees. Dental Link works only in Vietnam, where a porcelain veneer starts from US$250 a tooth. It is a starting price only. Weigh written quotes, not headline prices.
How much are veneers in Thailand?
On the clinic lists we read, a composite veneer in Thailand is roughly THB 6,000 at the low end and THB 9,000 at the top, and a porcelain or ceramic one runs from THB 10,000 up to THB 25,000. In US dollars at the October 2026 rate, that spans roughly US$175 to US$750 for a single tooth. Where you land depends on the ceramic and the clinic. Always get the figure in writing, itemised.
How much are composite veneers in Bangkok?
Composite veneers in Bangkok are listed between about THB 6,000 and THB 9,000 for each tooth on the guides we checked. Composite is built up on the tooth in a single visit, which keeps the price down. It chips and stains sooner than porcelain, so it is often chosen for smaller fixes. A Phuket hospital list we read put composite at THB 7,000, close to the Bangkok figures.
Is Thailand good to get your teeth done?
For many people, yes, if the clinic is a good one. Thailand has treated overseas dental patients for decades, and Bangkok has large hospitals with international accreditation. The Dental Council of Thailand licenses every dentist, and you can check a licence before you book. The risk is the same everywhere, which is picking the wrong clinic. Dental Link cannot vet Thai clinics, because we work only in Vietnam.
Composite or porcelain veneers, which lasts longer?
Porcelain usually lasts longer than composite and resists stains better, which is part of why it costs more. Composite is cheaper and can often be repaired, but it tends to chip and discolour sooner. Neither is right for everyone. Which one suits your teeth is a question for the dentist who examines you, not for us.
What is cheaper than veneers?
Several options can cost less than veneers, depending on the problem. Teeth whitening lifts colour without reshaping the tooth. Composite bonding can close a small gap or mend a chip for less than a full set. Clear aligners straighten teeth instead of covering them. A dentist is the one who says which of these fits your case.
How long can teeth rot under veneers?
A veneer covers the front of a tooth, not the whole tooth, so decay can still start at the edges or between teeth. How fast that happens depends on your cleaning, your diet and your gums, not on a fixed clock. Good brushing, flossing and check-ups keep the tooth under a veneer healthy for years. Any pain or a loose veneer is a reason to see your dentist quickly.
Can I bite into an apple with veneers?
Many people with veneers eat normally, but biting hard foods head on can chip a veneer, just as it can chip a natural tooth. Cutting an apple into pieces is gentler than biting through a whole one. Hard sweets, ice and using teeth as tools are the usual culprits. Your dentist gives the advice that fits your own veneers.
What I wish I knew before getting veneers?
The thing most people wish they knew is that porcelain veneers cannot usually be undone, since the dentist shapes off a little enamel first. The lab that makes them matters as much as the dentist. The price is set for each tooth, so the number of teeth changes the total fast. And veneers are cosmetic, so they do not fix decay or gum disease, which a dentist treats first.
Can you tell if someone is wearing veneers?
Well made veneers are hard to spot, because the shape, colour and surface are matched to the face. Poorly made ones look too white, too even or too bulky. A good lab and a careful dentist make the difference. This is about appearance only, and what looks right is a judgement you and your dentist make together.
Are Thailand veneer packages worth it?
A package can be fine, but judge it by what is inside, not by the headline price. Check the material named for each veneer, the number of teeth, any temporaries, and the warranty if one fails. A low package that leaves those out is not really low. Dental Link does not sell Thailand packages, so we will not rank them.
Where can I get the best veneers in Thailand?
There is no single best place, because the clinic and the lab matter more than the city. Bangkok has the most clinics and the fullest published prices, and Phuket treats many visitors too. Check the dentist's licence on the Dental Council of Thailand website, and ask to see the lab. Dental Link vets clinics in person, but only in Vietnam, so we cannot point you to one in Thailand.
What are the cheapest veneers in Thailand?
The cheapest veneers in Thailand are composite ones, from about THB 6,000 for each tooth on the lists we read. Cheapest is not the same as right for you. A low price can skip temporaries, a careful fit or a warranty. Ask for an itemised quote so you know what the figure buys.
How many teeth do people usually get done?
It varies, from one or two up to a full smile of eight to ten across the front. Most people match the teeth that show when they smile. Your dentist advises how many suit your case after a look. The price is set per tooth, so the number changes the total.
How long does getting veneers in Thailand take?
Composite can often be done in a single visit, because it is shaped straight onto the tooth. Porcelain usually takes two visits a few days apart, because a lab makes the shells in between. Plan a week or so for a porcelain set, and ask the clinic for a schedule before you fly.
Do I need to go back to Thailand if a veneer chips later?
Not always. A small chip in composite can often be smoothed or patched by a dentist at home, while a cracked porcelain shell usually needs remaking. Before you book, ask what the warranty covers and who handles repairs once you are home. Keep a note of the exact material used in case you need it.
Is it safe to get veneers done abroad?
It can be, if you choose the clinic as carefully as you would at home. The risk sits in the clinic and the lab, not the country. Check the dentist is registered, ask to see examples of the lab's work, and read the warranty first. We can vouch for clinics only in Vietnam, where our team checks them on the ground.
What is the difference between veneers and crowns?
A veneer covers only the front of a tooth, while a crown caps the whole tooth. A crown suits a tooth that is badly broken or root filled, and the thinner shell suits a mostly sound tooth where the change is cosmetic. Which you need is a call for the dentist who examines you.
